Trial Run Done

Haiku Painting – Sunset Strip – 24″x24″ acrylic on canvas

Last year, I began a trial run with the Arts Company, and that experiment ended today. They took on a collection of my abstract work, and almost a year later, it was apparent that their audience was not very interested in the paintings. I am not surprised. I don’t feel inclined to share my interpretation of why it played out like this, because it’s not important. It was an easy ending, and the beginning that started today feels fresh and right. That’s the lovely blessing of endings, and the high of starting anew is electric and powerful. Without any gallery representation locally, I drift in wide open spaces and conjure up possibilities. There are enticing options, and I will surely keep you all updated as the path unfolds.
