Not Poolside

Luckily, my little family will head to the beach in a couple of weeks. This weekend, like several others, was devoted to working to complete the garage renovation. This particular wall will soon be my “studio wall” at the house… and, then I’ll have to overcome the shadow forces that have previously kept me from being able to paint at home. There will also be an eight foot long desktop to help with some smaller work. The anticipation makes spending a summer weekend crawling around the concrete floor, installing baseboards, shoe mold, patching, caulking, etc. worth the while. I’ve got the energy to keep it up, as the finish line is sort of in sight. I am well spent.
