Maintenance

It’s fairly standard that automobiles need an oil change around every 5000 miles. It used to be 3000, but better built cars require less maintenance, it seems. I have found that my mind, body, soul vehicle has a service cycle too, but I have yet to figure out what sort of milage I can get between visits to the garage. Today, my internal “check engine” light came on, and, luckily I have already scheduled my appointment to be serviced. I put some hard miles on me over the holidays, and filled myself too often with cheap fuel, and now my attempt to smoothly navigate the start of the year has exposed a couple of internal issues. Fortunately, I have a trustworthy “service station,” and all will be fixed before the engine blows and costs a fortune.
