Free Medicine

So, the sun was out in full glory today, and I extra enjoyed my run this afternoon. Fresh air and sunshine are medicine… especially for animals like us that spend so much time indoors, when Nature is more likely our natural habitat. We are still so relatively new to the HVAC equipped version of home. Like car insurance, it should be required that we get a certain amount of time in Nature, breathing fresh air and syncing with our living Earth. We should have to show proof at some inefficient operation like the DMV. We would be a more balanced human race, I think, and we would likely treat the world with less ownership than we wrecklessly seem to do. I don’t always heed my own advice (seems to be common amongst us), but around this time of year, I fall into the habit of sitting on my back porch, surrounded by trees, doing nothing besides absorbing the medicine.

I wonder what it would be like if there were one shaman for every five doctors, and we used the Earth’s medicine more.
