Every Thought is a Prayer
“Every thought is a prayer.” I heard this phrase years ago, but I don’t know where… it rang true to me. I have found in meditation, that one of the benefits is the exercise of not attaching to thoughts. I allow them to be what they are, I am mindful of them, but then release them as soon as I am able. My mood, energy, etc. are often the product of how successful I am at not giving too much power to my thoughts. By their nature, they seem loaded with energy and intention, so the simple experience of thinking them is enough for them to do Divine work.
