Committees

I’m sort of on a committee at my daughters’ school. It’s unusual for me, and mildly uncomfortable. I attended a meeting today with that group, and I don’t remember saying anything at all. I don’t know that anything I could have said would have added value or insight to an already crowded conversation. Maybe, it’s the nature of this particular committee… I am not experienced or suited to help guide in that forum, but I am passionate about the cause. Thus, a predicament has swelled inside me, and I’ll have to iron it out soon. My seat could be filled by someone more capable of adding to the committee, and that would benefit the whole. We’ll see.
