Commission Paintings

Over my twenty-five years of painting, I have had many fewer commissions than expected. Painting for someone is a slightly different dynamic than just making paintings for my own projects. I am hoping to do more of this kind of work, because the challenge is effective in promoting growth in the studio. Commissioned work feels more service oriented, which is aligned with much of my current “program.” We’ll see if the Universe hears my open invitation.

The image is a friend’s family’s car lot from a beautiful time and place.
