All In The Groove
Before today, it had been a while since I had painted… not a long while, but a noticeable gap. The thirty-four panels have been stacked in the studio and shuffled around from desktop to chair to other desktop over the past week. This morning, the space was available within myself and schedule to execute the next phase of their development. There was very appropriate atmosphere, and step three of these paintings unfolded in a calculated rhythm. My outside of studio schedule has filled to the point that studio time is exponentially more valuable in some ways. This series thrives inĀ the sort of piecemeal process that I’ll find most available over the next several months. That’s really all for now… I am tired.
